Board & Train

Build Better Everyday Manners

A focused one-week reset for dogs who need better manners, basic obedience, and more structure. Our personalized, home-based dog training focuses on everyday skills like leash manners, place training, impulse control, boundaries, jumping, and refreshing previously learned skills.

This program is best suited for dogs without significant behavioral concerns and owners looking to improve everyday manners and on-leash skills.

Reliable Obedience for Life

Our most popular program, the Two-Week Board & Train, gives your dog the time, structure, and repetition needed to develop reliable obedience and stronger real-world skills. Training takes place in a professional trainer’s home, where your dog can practice during household routines, walks, public outings, and around real-world distractions.

This program is ideal for dogs working on reliable obedience, loose-leash walking and heel, recall, place and duration, impulse control, household manners, confidence, socialization, and off-leash training. It can also be a good fit for mild reactivity or behavioral concerns and for owners who want better communication and consistency with their dogs.

THREE WEEK

Board & Train

Advanced Behavior Training

Our Three-Week Board & Train program is designed for dogs who need more than traditional obedience training. With more time, individualized attention, and consistent repetition, we’re able to take a deeper approach to behavioral challenges while building obedience, confidence, structure, and better decision-making.

This extended program is ideal for dogs experiencing moderate to significant reactivity, resource guarding, fearful or insecure behaviors, significant impulse-control challenges, or more complex behavioral concerns. It can also be a great fit for dogs working toward advanced obedience goals or those who benefit from additional time and repetition to build confidence and lasting skills.

The extra time allows us to work at a pace that supports meaningful progress, giving your dog the opportunity to develop new behaviors, strengthen existing skills, and build greater confidence in a structured environment.

PLEASE NOTE: Dogs with a history of aggression, biting, or significant behavioral concerns require an evaluation before program placement.

REQUIREMENTS

Every dog is different. Please be open about your dog’s strengths, challenges, and current behavior so I can tailor their training to your goals and give them the best possible start.

Before the Stay

  • Bring your completed contract questionnaire, emailed to you before your training appointment.

  • Provide your contact information, emergency contact, and vaccine records.

  • Confirm Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations are current.

  • Ensure flea, tick, and heartworm prevention is current.

  • Groom your dog before drop-off.

  • Make sure your dog is comfortable with crate training.

Drop-Off

  • Plan for a 10–15 minute introduction to meet you and your dog.

  • Dogs must be leashed and securely contained before vehicle doors are opened.

  • Bring two weeks of individually portioned food, plus a few extra days.

  • Bring treats if needed for allergies or sensitivities.

  • Beds, blankets, bowls, and toys are provided.

Take-Home

  • Dogs are crated at night and during transportation.

  • Download WhatsApp for daily updates.

  • At pick-up, plan for 1–2 hours to review your dog’s progress.

  • Learn how to maintain their training and progress at home.
